Services include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>legal representation for eligible clients who appear in court without a lawyer;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>legal aid applications and information over the phone;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>legal resources and referrals to other social assistance agencies; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a certificate program for complex and serious cases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-zp4-card\"><div class=\"content-container\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading heading has-large-font-size\">Community and Specialty Legal Clinics<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Legal Aid Ontario funds community legal clinics&nbsp;throughout the province; including clinics that provide&nbsp;specialty legal services&nbsp;(e.g. Justice for Children and Youth). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Legal clinics employ lawyers, legal workers, paralegals and administrative staff to provide information, legal advice and representation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each is a non-profit legal centre, governed by an independent board of directors representative of the community it serves. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-zp4-card\"><div class=\"content-container\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading heading has-large-font-size\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lso.ca\/public-resources\/finding-a-lawyer-or-paralegal\">Lawyer and Paralegal Referral Service<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Law Society of Ontario can assist you in finding a lawyer or paralegal.
