Could this change?<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\" id=\"how\">How do I change the sex designation on my identity documents&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The first step<\/strong> is to make the change on your Ontario birth registration and birth certificate. If you were born elsewhere, check if that jurisdiction allows for this<br>change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">15 years of age or under<\/span>, you will apply as a child and you will need:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Written consent from yourself and of all persons with legal custody of you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proof of notice to all persons with legal access to you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A letter signed by a physician or psychologist that supports your requested change.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">16 or 17 years of age<\/span>, you can apply as a child (described above) or as an adult.
