Our Community Involvement

As part of JFCY’s vision, we are involved with a wide range of people and community, educational and professional organizations from many sectors. We are involved in a number of on-going partnerships and are continuously engaging in new initiatives and consultations.

This past year has included:

  • Being on the executive of the Ontario Bar Association’s Child and Youth Law; Constitutional, Civil Liberties and Human Rights; and Education Law sections
  • Being on the executive of of the Canadian Bar Association’s Child and Youth Law section
  • Board member and Treasurer of the Canadian Coalition on the Rights of the Children (and treasurer)
  • Board member of Canadian Association for the Practical Study of Law in Education
  • Board member of A Way Home Canada
  • Advisory group member for the Centre for Refugee Children
